1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to fill government exam forms on behalf of students. This includes:
• Full Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number
• Father Name, Mother's Name
• Address, Email ID
• Category (OBC / SC / ST / General / EWS)

This data is stored solely for the purpose of form filling and is never shared with any third party.

2. Information We Do NOT Store

• Aadhaar Card Image - Scanned image is deleted immediately after text extraction.
• Caste / Income Certificate - Deleted immediately after category detection.
• Photographs & Signatures - Deleted from our system after compression and download.
• Bank Details - We never ask for or store any financial information.
• Passwords - User passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) format only.

3. Aadhaar Number Policy

In compliance with UIDAI guidelines:
• The full Aadhaar number is never displayed on screen.
• Only the last 4 digits are shown: XXXX XXXX 9012
• The complete number is only transferred to clipboard when the user clicks Copy - it is never visible in plain text.
• Aadhaar images are permanently deleted after data extraction.

4. Document Handling Policy

We process the following documents strictly for form-filling purposes only:

• Aadhaar Card - Scanned to extract name, DOB, address. Image deleted immediately after extraction. Only masked number (XXXX XXXX XXXX) is stored.

• Caste Certificate (OBC / SC / ST) - Scanned only to detect category. The document image is deleted immediately. We do not store certificate number or issuing authority details.

• Income Certificate - Scanned only to verify EWS eligibility. Deleted immediately after category is confirmed.

• 10th / 12th Marksheet - Used only to extract qualification details if required by the exam form. Deleted after data entry.

• Domicile / Residence Certificate - Used only to fill state/district fields. Deleted after use.

Important: No document image is ever uploaded to our servers. All processing happens locally on your device.

5. Category Data Policy

• Category information (General / OBC / SC / ST / EWS / PH) is collected solely to fill the relevant field in government exam forms.

• We do not use category data for any profiling, analytics, or marketing purposes.

• Category is auto-detected from caste certificate scan - the source document is deleted immediately after detection.

• Sub-category details (OBC-NCL, SC-PH, etc.) are stored only as plain text - no supporting document is retained.

6. Photograph Policy

• Student photographs are uploaded only for the purpose of compressing and resizing to meet government portal size requirements (typically 20KB-50KB, 200×230 px).

• After the compressed photo is downloaded by the operator, the original and compressed files are deleted from our system.

• We do not use student photographs for any facial recognition, AI training, or identification purposes.

• Photos are never shared with any third party under any circumstances.

• Compressed photos are stored temporarily (max 1 hour) only to allow download - after which they are automatically purged.

7. Signature Policy

• Student signatures are uploaded only for compression purposes - to meet government portal size requirements (typically 10KB-20KB).

• Signatures are processed locally and the compressed file is made available for immediate download.

• Original and compressed signature files are deleted after download or within 1 hour - whichever is earlier.

• We do not store, analyse, or reproduce student signatures in any form.

• Signatures are never used for any verification, authentication, or legal purposes by WAVEYUG.

8. Data Storage & Retention

• All student data is stored locally on the cyber cafe operator's device.
• Data is not synced to any external server without explicit user consent.
• Upon account cancellation, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Data Security

• All connections are secured using SSL / TLS encryption.
• Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing algorithms (bcrypt).
• No WAVEYUG employee has access to individual student data.
• Regular security audits are conducted to ensure data protection.
• Two-factor authentication is available for operator accounts.

By accessing and using WAVEYUG software ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users including cyber cafe owners, students, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

WAVEYUG is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform designed for cyber cafe owners in India to:

• Store student details securely for government exam form filling
• Auto-fill government exam forms using stored data
• Compress photos and signatures to government portal requirements
• Track exam notifications and last dates
• Generate AI-powered resumes for students

WAVEYUG is a tool to assist — it does not guarantee admission or selection in any government exam.

3. Subscription Plans & Payments

• Free Trial: 30 days free trial — no credit card required
• Pro Plan: ₹299/month — Unlimited form filling
• Premium Plan: ₹599/month — All Pro features + Priority support

All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

4. Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment
• Refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment method
• No refund after 7 days of subscription activation
• Technical issues reported within 24 hours will be resolved — if not resolved, full refund will be issued

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of WAVEYUG, you agree to:

• Use the service only for legitimate government exam form filling
• Not share your login credentials with unauthorized persons
• Ensure student data accuracy — WAVEYUG is not responsible for incorrect information entered
• Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform
• Not use the service for any illegal activities
• Keep your API keys (Groq, OCR.Space) confidential

6. Data Security

• All student data is stored encrypted in Google Firebase
• Aadhaar numbers are never stored — only last 4 digits shown
• Aadhaar card images are deleted immediately after scanning
• Payments are processed by Razorpay — we never store card details
• We comply with IT Act 2000 and applicable Indian data protection laws

7. Limitation of Liability

WAVEYUG / Waveyug Technologies shall not be liable for:

• Any rejection of government exam forms due to incorrect student data
• Downtime of government portals (SSC, UPSC, Railway etc.)
• Loss of data due to user error or device issues
• Internet connectivity issues
• Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service
